the photo series appeared in german weekly die zeit last week, and shows pieces by architectural photographer roman bezjak. 

my fascination with concrete is a bit troublesome at times. concrete sporadically seems very filagree, then again it appears as a very massive, totalitarian, and, well, concrete statement.

our next task is designing a gallery for contemporary art, close to where the former wall stood. reference to the wall is not necessary, but possible. i’m thinking of a glazed cube with a flexible concrete shell, hence the current concrete high… 

any thoughts?

  1. gwenmcgregor said: makes me think of the Sprengel museum . I´d think of a wall , maybe integrating parts of the original wall with the original graffitti. People who have been collecting could donate. and then make that wall an interior dominante.
